Use this quick method for 3 cups of extra long grain rice. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. 1. Combine in a 2-quart saucepan: 1 cup rice; 2 cups water; 1 tsp. salt, optional; 1 tbsp. oil or margarine, optional. 2. Stir lightly; bring to a rolling boil & reduce heat to simmer (low boil). Cover with a tight fitting lid and simmer for 15 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 5 minutes.
Ingredients: Extra Long Grain Rice, Iron Phosphate, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid.
